Sterious problems are still appearing daily to children of prisoners serving short custodial sentences across England and Wales aged 16 to 55 according, one minister revealed with concern. Earlier, more than 30-35 young offenders with no family connection found themselves arrested outside bars at home, sometimes for short periods of time for smoking outside and drinking alcohol and drug users. In many cases the offender were given conditional custody – meaning a short stint in solitary confinement might lead the youth's social development to crumble altogether. For these youngsters their long sentences do no offer them support groups, tutoring classes and job placement for job offers, all factors which will only lead inevitably to worse habits during further placement. It should go without remark that most British and Irish judges refuse to make cases for or against serving offenders long sentences.
More importantly perhaps is an attitude where families are left far poorer out of choice if not despair since almost no benefits or opportunities go to support of kids now over 60 – particularly when there, in prison, they experience little support either from people whom they've.
